She is a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Campus Queretaro since 1997, specializing in logistics systems modeling, supply chain, distribution network design and optimization.

She is passionate about teaching topics related to logistics and supply chain. Beatriz holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Her areas of interest are optimization of distribution and transportation models using real-time communication technology.

She has worked in productivity improvement consulting projects, project management and process design in the manufacturing and transportation sectors.

Member of the Academic Career Aspects Team of the 2019 study plans for the Industrial and Systems Engineering program.
