Alexander Garrido has a PhD in Logistics Engineering (Warwick U), MSc in Industrial Economics (UNAL) and Industrial Engineering (UDFJC). He also holds a professional certification as PMP® from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and is a certified instructor in EMI Skills (Cambridge U).
He was a visiting professor at Universidad del Rosario (Colombia) and at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (Harvard U). Professor Garrido has oriented undergraduate and graduate courses in several universities in Latin America on Logistics, Project Risk Management and Analytics.
Before becoming fully involved in academia and working as a university professor and manager, he was involved in the real sector with entities in the financial and productive sector in positions of responsibility.
Currently, Professor Garrido is a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey (Nuevo León, Mexico).
