PhD in Industrial Engineering
Mechatronics Engineer with a major in Automotive Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Toluca. He has worked in some automation projects for the manufacturing sector and the plastics industry.
He has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Econometrics Institute of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. His thesis work was focused on robust optimization applications to transportation and inventory problems.
Eduardo has worked as a consultant in supply chain process improvement with companies such as Groups2Go, LaModerna, KFC, among others; in addition to having extensive experience as an instructor of executive education modules.
Recently his disciplinary research, linked to top 200 universities (MIT, Texas A&M, Erasmus Univesity and Khalifa University), includes transportation models that allow reducing CO2 emissions to the environment, mainly in last mile distribution where he collaborates with Forbes 2000 companies (Femsa, Unilever, Kellogs, among others).
Eduardo has been invited as a speaker at national and international conferences and workshops in his area of expertise. In the field of educational innovation, Eduardo has been awarded with the first regional place in the Reimagine Education 2016 conference, he has been a member and leader of more than 4 NOVUS projects where he has generated academic publications in the area of educational research.
He is Associate Director of the Industrial Engineering Department at Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Santa Fe where he teaches courses related to supply chain management.
