Eric Porras Musalem holds a PhD in Operations Research from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He has published scientific articles in prestigious international journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research, the International Journal of Production Economics and the International Journal of Management Science.
He has also presented his research papers at various national and international conferences, such as the World Summit of Innovation and Logistics Experts in Leon, Guanajuato, in June 2017. From 2011 to 2014 he was Research Director of the Center for Innovation in Logistics and Trade in Mexico, a joint initiative of Tec de Monterrey with Georgia Tech University in the USA, where he managed industrial projects such as the Study of Best Logistics Practices in the Consumer Industry in Mexico. From 2015 to date he directs the Master in Business Administration (MBA) at EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
As a business consultant he has carried out several industrial projects in the areas of economic foresight, logistics and supply chain.
