Dr. Medina has been a full-time professor of industrial engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Chihuahua campus since July 2022. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Process Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain.
His experience is focused on the modeling and solution of multi-objective and stochastic optimization problems. He holds 3 postdoctoral degrees from University College London, Purdue University and the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
He has published more than 20 research articles in Quartile 1 journals, has given 20 presentations at international conferences and has been instructor of multiple workshops and courses at national and international level.
He has carried out several innovation projects in leading industries of diverse approaches such as Praxair, EliLily and Repsol. He is currently a member of the National System of Researchers level 1.
