PhD in Industrial Engineering with focus on supply chain, Tecnológico de Monterrey
Victor Rayas is a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara campus and is the coordinator of the Center for Intelligent and Sustainable Logistics for the Western Region.
He has been professor since 2014, in addition to having been Director of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Career (2018-2020) and Regional Director of the Industrial Engineering Department (2020-2022).
His PhD research focused on decision making for outsourcing in supply chains.
In 2012 during his doctoral research stay, he was a professor at Universidad Andres Bello in Chile. He has participated in projects related to MIT, Flex, Colgate, Bohn, Coppel among others.
He is co-author of the e-book "Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Creating value networks in Mexico and Latin America" published by the digital publishing house of Tecnológico de Monterrey and he has also published several articles in indexed scientific journals, as well as being a reviewer of articles in the journal CAIE.
