Semblance
I am a highly qualified professional with a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the prestigious Tokyo Institute of Technology. My doctoral research delved into the development of advanced statistical models for understanding consumer behavior across diverse countries. The focus of my dissertation was the deployment and analysis of multilingual international surveys in Bolivia, Ecuador, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the USA. These surveys aimed to establish comprehensive customer satisfaction models, shedding light on the nuanced differences and commonalities in the consumption patterns of consumer goods. My expertise lies in crafting statistical models that incorporate psychological, cultural, and attitudinal measurements in the consumption of products and services. Currently serving as a full-time lecturer at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, my ongoing research encompasses a wide spectrum, including statistical modeling of consumer behavior, corporate social responsibility, factory physics, student attrition, behavioral economics, and behavioral finance. My professional journey extends beyond academia, with significant experience in designing, implementing, and certifying ISO 9001 quality management systems. I spent five years as a quality manager at Phocos AG in Bolivia, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards. Additionally, as a consultant, I assisted private companies in successfully adopting and certifying ISO 9001 standards. During this period, I also contributed as a part-time lecturer at the University Mayor of San Simon in Bolivia. My diverse skill set includes expertise in marketing research, comprehensive data analysis, and specialization in customer satisfaction and loyalty data analysis. I possess a unique proficiency in deploying multilingual international consumer surveys and conducting cultural consumer data analyses. Furthermore, my knowledge extends to hedonic quality assessments and consumer psychology analyses. In summary, my extensive background in academia and industry, coupled with strong data analysis skills, positions me as a valuable asset. I am confident that my experience and capabilities will contribute significantly to enhancing the long-term profitability and success of Tec de Monterrey.
