She earned her degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez, a master’s in industrial engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey.
She is a member of the board of the Mexican Society for Operations Research (SMIO) by its acronym in Spanish. Her research areas include optimization, operations research, inventory management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, statistics, reliability, organizational quality, and supply chain management. She has some publications related to inventory optimization models.
