Semblance
I have been a university mathematics professor since 2012. I have taught at the Universidad Metropolitana de Monterrey (UMM), the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), and the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC). Currently, I am a Full-Time Professor at the Querétaro campus of TEC. I have taught 33 mathematics courses at UANL, 4 at UMM, and more than 30 at TEC. Teaching is my passion, as I feel very grateful when I see the expression on my students' faces when they learn something new or something they once considered difficult, which is a common experience in mathematics courses.
Regarding research, I am the author of two articles in the area of Statistical Process Monitoring (in collaboration with other researchers in SPM) as a result of my graduate studies. I conducted a research stay at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie at the Université de Nantes, in Nantes, France, with Professor Philippe Castagliola, a renowned researcher in SPM. I would like to continue working on some research related to my doctoral studies (related to SPM, time series analysis, and parametric statistics) and continue learning new things to improve my teaching skills.
